Studio Lessons

Music is a gift, which has blessed me with joie de vivre, a deep sense of achievement, rigorous discipline, calm in time of anxiety and solace in time of mourning. Gifts are meant to be shared and this belief is the driving force in my teaching. I have taught multi ages from 4 years to 90 plus at all levels and abilities, including students with special needs and learning challenges.

I want my students to be musically literate and to be rhythmically accurate and fluent.  I want them to form a sound technique, and to learn to think critically and creatively about the music they are playing. I want them to know the gift of music both as performers and as listeners and patrons of the arts.
